Merry Christmas

Christmas is a special day because Jesus Christ was born for a very special purpose. Thank you so much Jesus for dying on the cross for our sins to take our punishments. Just looking back at this year, there are so many times I’ve wronged God by disobeying, doubting, lying, and all of that. What did I do to deserve his grace?

God, please fill me up with the Holy Spirit so I can be a positive witness for your Word. I fall but I know you’re here to pick me up. I have doubts but you provide confirmations. I cry but you give comfort. I get lost but you always seek. I lose faith but you still love me eternally. Thank you for speaking to me Lord. Please guide my way

When you’re deep in a hole struggling to get out, be reminded that God is waiting to hear our cries to Him. He wants a relationship with us. God seriously loves us so much. I just hate how I forget that sometimes…

I am finally done exams; so relieved and beyond stoked for winter break!!

But before I'm leave, just wanted to shoutout to my good friend, Jess.
Knowing I had an 8:30AM exam this morning, she asked if I wanted to stay over at her dorm so I didn't have to wake up so early to commute. Above that, she gave me her whole bed to sleep in while she slept elsewhere because she wanted me to have a "good night's sleep". Can't forget about her awesome roommate, Ivy, who watched her dramas in the dark on her ipod because she didn't want to disrupt me sleeping.  Finally, in the morning, even with my moaning and groaning, Jess forced me to eat breakfast and walked me to my exam. Aaaaah thank youuuuuu :)

Holiday High

AHHH I just love the holidays! This weekend was just filled with holiday-like activities. It made me one happy lady.

We made Christmas Cards to fundraise for the Union Gospel Mission .....AREN'T THEY PRETTY?! :)

Our church's Christmas tree! The lights and decorations are so pretty! Our family still has yet to put up our Christmas tree. I blame each and every one of us for being so lazy...

Good news is: My mom's finally back! 

So I didn't really ask for any souvenirs because I didn't have anything in mind that I wanted.

So when she came back...this is what she gave me: 

Haha I don't even know what to call this. It's like a pillow, but with a hole right in the middle to put your hands in. My mom calls it "a hand-warmer when you watch TV". So I guess that's what it is! THANKS MOM :)

Exams, exams, and more exams

Exam period is here, so these few days can be pretty much summed into 1 word: Sitting.

I can't necessarily say I'm studying 24/7 because I'm not. Nor can I say I'm completely procrastinating, because I am getting things done....very, very slowlyyyyy. Yet, while I'm sitting here, I'm thinking about the whole idea of school. Here, I'm studying for final exams, then moving on to second semester, studying for some more exams, and then the next 3+ years will be very similar.

Yes school is important, but there is so much more out there.
Take a break. Go outside and enjoy the cold, crisp fall weather. Strike some conversations with family. Listen to some Starfield. And breathe...

As the new year is quickly approaching, and the first semester of university coming to an end, I thought it would be a great time to start a blog. A blog just to share my thoughts, inspirations, and just happenings :) Welcome!

My philosophy: Life is tough. Stress and struggles are inevitable. But in the end, with God, love, and laughter, things get better.  Life's actually pretty beautiful.
